The Cruel Prince and the Wicked King are paperback. The Queen of Nothing is hardback. All bought new and I only read The Cruel Prince. The cruel prince has some damage on the cover edges from a teething kitten but none of the pages are damaged and the cover is intact. The Queen of Nothing has some creases on the cover corners from shelf wear (see pictures).
