Here we have an antique copy of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain. It is a hardcover with dust jacket, published by Whitman Publishing in 1931. There is heavy brown toning on the pages and jacket. There is a handwritten inscription on the inside of the front cover, indicating this book was a Christmas gift in 1936. Other than that, there are no writings, rips, or creases inside. The binding is still intact, and very tight; the book doesn't want to be opened wide. The dust jacket has significant edge wear, and one bald spot on the top front corner.
