This is a first printing, 1943, dust jacket is in fair condition, the cover and the pages are in very good condition, though there is evidence of minor yellowing. The book focuses mainly on the Eskimo people and how they live and survive in this harsh but beautiful state. There are many photographs as well as maps on the front and back interior covers.
