If you’re going to write a negative one word review of this book because you were expecting a play by play of the musical, that’s user error. This book is fantastic.

I read this ages ago when the musical first came out, and ive read it a few times since then. Something new every time i reenter the world, and I love the way Maguire writes in a way that brings the whole world alive.

So...the stage/movie productions are more like fanfiction of this work and, honestly? I much prefer them.
