How to Find the Best Deals on Used Books on Pango

If you’ve bought any books on Pango, you may have already learned that buying directly from the shelves of other readers is an excellent way to save on your next read. In this post, we’re sharing a few other tips on how to find the best deals on Pango to make your book-buying dollars go even further!

Look for Sellers with Special Discounts

The single best way to save on books when shopping on Pango is to buy a bundle of multiple books from the same seller. This is especially true when the seller is offering a special discount or offer on their shop.

If you look below the image on any individual listing or at the top of any shop page, you’ll see info on the discounts currently available from that seller. There’s also a link on the Pango app homepage that will take you to an area where you can browse shops currently offering discounts.

If you are a seller and want to add a discount offer to your shop, you can do so from your account menu where it says “My Inventory and Discounts."

Look for Sellers with Free Shipping

Much like the above tip regarding special shop discounts, many sellers on Pango also offer to cover shipping for buyers who buy over a certain amount from them at once. You can also find this info on each individual listing or shop page. If you see a little blue truck icon on any book on Pango, that indicates it’s a listing from a seller with a free shipping offer.

Check Out the Price Drop Section of the App

Further down on the homepage of the Pango app, you’ll see a link to the Price Drops section. Any book where the seller has recently lowered their price will show up on this page. Often the best deals in the whole Pango ecosystem are waiting in this section.

Pro tip: if you see a price drop on a book you’re interested in, also be sure to check out that seller's shop page, as they may have other deals on similar titles.

Dig Through $1 Book Listings

If you’re not looking for a particular title or edition, try browsing by category or any general search term, and then sorting the results by price from lowest to highest. Much like that proverbial box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get! Digging through the many thousands of $1 listings on Pango is a fun and affordable way to stumble onto a new read. In many cases, the seller on a listing you’re interested in will have other related books at low prices, so you can make an awesome budget-friendly bundle, whether it’s a package of paperback sci-fi or a grab bag of board books for your toddler!
