The 25 Best-Selling Authors of 2022

Earlier this week, we shared a list of the top-selling titles of 2022 here on PangoBooks. Today, we’re turning our attention to the best-selling authors of the year.

While there is certainly quite a bit of overlap between the two lists, it is notable that there are plenty of names here that don’t have an individual book represented in the top-selling title rankings. These authors tend to be characterized by having a fairly deep bibliography (such as Stephen King) where their sales are spread across a lot of different titles, and in many cases are authors who specialize in multi-book series. Leigh Bardugo and Jennifer L. Armentrout would be examples of this.
