Yara Zgheib is a Lebanese-American writer and poet. She is the author of The Paper House, a novel about a Lebanese family's journey from war-torn Lebanon to the United States. Zgheib’s writing focuses on the immigrant experience, exploring the complexities of identity and displacement. She is also the author of the poetry collection The Naming of Strays and the editor of The Book of Beirut, an anthology of stories and poems about the city.
