Susan Beth Pfeffer is an American author of children's and young adult fiction. Her best known works include the dystopian science fiction series, The Last Survivors, and the vampire romance series, The Life As We Knew It. Pfeffer has written over fifty books, including picture books, novels, and non-fiction works.
