R. C. Sproul (1939-2017) was an American theologian, pastor, and author. He was the founder and chairman of Ligonier Ministries, an international Christian education ministry based in Sanford, Florida. He was a Reformed theologian and held to the doctrines of grace. He wrote over 60 books and produced numerous audio and video series. He was a popular speaker on topics related to theology, philosophy, and apologetics.
