Molly Prentiss is an American author of fiction. She is best known for her debut novel Tuesday Nights in 1980, which was a New York Times Book Review Editors' Choice and longlisted for the Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize. Prentiss has been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony, the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and the Sewanee Writers' Conference. Her writing has appeared in Tin House, The Atlantic, Granta, and The Paris Review.
