Michael DeForge

Michael DeForge is a Canadian cartoonist and illustrator, known for his distinctive, eclectic style and storytelling in the world of alternative comics. Born in 1987, DeForge has been a significant figure in the indie comics scene since the late 2000s. Notable for his surreal narratives and unique, often abstract character designs, he has received critical acclaim and several awards for his works. Some of his most prominent works include the comic series "Lose," as well as graphic novels such as "Ant Colony," "Big Kids," and "Sticks Angelica, Folk Hero." His work often explores themes of identity, sexuality, and the complexities of human relationships, with an undercurrent of humor and emotional depth. In addition to his graphic novels and comics, DeForge has also worked as an illustrator and on the popular animated television series "Adventure Time."
