Jim Benton is an American cartoonist, illustrator, and author known for his humorous books and cartoons. He is the creator of the popular children's book series Dear Dumb Diary, as well as the Franny K. Stein series, and has written and illustrated numerous books for children and adults. He is also the creator of the popular cartoon characters, The Happy Duckies.
