Jeff Probst

Jeff Probst is an American television personality, best known as the host and executive producer of the long-running reality series "Survivor," which premiered in 2000. Born on November 4, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas, Probst started his career in the entertainment industry as a producer and narrator of marketing videos. He eventually transitioned to hosting, with stints on shows like "Rock & Roll Jeopardy!" on VH1. His approachable demeanor and adept handling of "Survivor" contestants during Tribal Council helped solidify his status as a staple in reality television. Besides his television work, Jeff Probst has authored a children's adventure book series called "Stranded," co-written with Chris Tebbetts, which is inspired by his experiences on "Survivor." The books follow a group of four kids marooned on a deserted island as they attempt to survive and uncover the island's secrets. His ability to engage audiences and his storytelling skills have made him a recognizable figure in television and literature.
