David Wong

David Wong is the pen name of Jason Pargin, an American author known for his unique blend of humor and horror. He first gained popularity with his debut novel, "John Dies at the End," which started as a web serial before being published as a book in 2007. The novel was unique in its blend of surreal horror, comedy, and philosophical musings. Due to its success, it was followed by sequels "This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It" and "What the Hell Did I Just Read?" Wong was also the executive editor of the comedy website Cracked.com for several years, where he contributed articles under his pen name. His style is characterized by an irreverent tone, satirical commentary, and an ability to combine deep existential themes with offbeat humor.
