Claire Adam is a British-Trinidadian novelist and short story writer. She is the author of the novel Golden Child, which was longlisted for the 2019 Booker Prize and won the 2019 Costa First Novel Award. Her work has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Granta.
