Caroline B. Cooney is an American author of young adult fiction. She is best known for her thriller and romance novels, such as The Face on the Milk Carton and its sequels, as well as the popular V.C. Andrews-inspired series, The Goddesses. She has also written fantasy novels, such as The Time Travelers and The Janie Books.
