Betty J. Ackley is a nursing professor and author of several books on nursing, health, and wellness. Her books focus on topics such as health assessment, nursing leadership, and health care policy. She has also written on topics such as end-of-life care, cultural competency, and health disparities. She has a PhD in Nursing from the University of Maryland and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
