Alejandro Jodorowsky is a Chilean-French filmmaker, playwright, actor, author, comic book writer, poet, mime, spiritual guru and psychotherapist. He is best known for his avant-garde films such as El Topo (1970) and The Holy Mountain (1973). He has also written several books, including The Way of Tarot (1979) and Psychomagic (2010).
